Health Board

The Health Board shall consider rules and regulations, having the force and effect of law, to safeguard the health of the people of such City and prevent nuisances and unsanitary conditions, enforce the same, and provide fines and punishments for the violation thereof.
Members
The Health Board consists of 5 members. The members are as follows:
  • Chief of Police, who shall be the secretary
  • City Manager
  • Health Inspector
  • Mayor, who serves as Chairman
  • Physician, who shall be the Medical Advisor
  • One other person who shall be appointed by the Mayor
  • All terms are indefinite.
