The Problem Resolution Team employs a multiple agency approach to address health, safety and welfare issues relative to neighbors, housing, and property use through education, code enforcement, and nuisance abatement in a proactive and consistent manner. The Team shall also provide feedback to citizens, and make recommendations to the City Council regarding City practices, policies, and code changes needed.
Member Overview
The Problem Resolution Team is to consist of eleven (11) members who shall represent, insofar as is possible. Members include
Chadron Police Department
A member at large
A social services representative
City Attorney, Building Inspection
City Council representative
State College representative
Nebraska State Fire Marshall or Chadron Fire Department representative
A physician
An owner of a non-owner occupied property
A community or housing development corporation representative. The City Attorney and Building Inspection shall be ex-officio members but shall have no vote on any matter before the Board and shall serve indefinite terms.
The terms of the members are for four (4) years.
The City Attorney and Building Inspector shall be ex-officio members but shall have no vote on any matter before the board.
